2025 Kia Telluride: Rugged Comfort Refined
An SUV that blends strength with luxury features

When you want a vehicle that’s as comfortable on a family getaway as it is hauling gear through challenging terrain, the 2025 Kia Telluride rises to the occasion. This three-row midsize SUV doesn’t just cover the basics—it delivers high-end features, strong capability, and intuitive tech in a package that’s built to impress. Whether you’re packing up for a road trip or navigating your daily commute, the Telluride is designed to meet your needs with confidence and refinement.

From the first glance, the 2025 Telluride gives off an unmistakably bold presence. Its upright stance, broad front fascia, and signature amber LED daytime running lights define a look that’s both rugged and upscale. The updated grille, skid plates, and new wheel designs help the Telluride make a statement on city streets and back roads alike. Available in multiple trims including the urban-inspired EX, luxurious SX, off-road-ready X-Line, and the even more capable X-Pro, the Telluride lineup has something for every driver.

Powering the 2025 Telluride is a 3.8L GDI V6 engine that delivers a healthy 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that shifts cleanly and responds quickly when merging, passing, or climbing steep grades. All-wheel drive is available across the lineup and standard on certain trims, providing confident traction in rain, snow, gravel, or dry pavement. With a towing capacity of up to 5,500 pounds in the X-Pro trim, the Telluride isn’t just comfortable—it’s capable. And despite its size and strength, it returns a combined fuel rating of 11.2 L/100 km, with 12.8 in the city and 9.8 on the highway.

Step inside and the focus shifts to comfort and technology. The Telluride offers seating for up to eight passengers, or seven when equipped with second-row captain’s chairs. Upholstery choices range from durable SynTex leatherette to premium Nappa leather in upper trims. Heated and ventilated front seats come standard on many models, and upper trims also offer second-row heating and ventilation, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a dual sunroof for an open, airy feel.

Technology is one of the Telluride’s biggest strengths. The centrepiece of the dashboard is a seamless panoramic display made up of dual 12.3-inch screens—one for the digital instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system. The interface is powered by Kia’s new Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), which supports over-the-air updates, customizable user profiles, and enhanced connectivity. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are included, along with USB-C charging ports for every row and an available full-colour Head-Up Display. Higher trims also feature a 10-speaker Harman Kardon® sound system and digital rearview mirror for clearer visibility in all conditions.

Cargo space is generous, with 601 litres behind the third row, 1,304 litres behind the second row, and up to 2,455 litres with both rows folded flat. The hands-free Smart Power Liftgate makes loading easier when your hands are full, and roof rails come standard to add even more utility.

Safety features are equally impressive. Every 2025 Telluride includes Kia’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems suite, which features Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Safe Exit Assist, and Lane Follow Assist. Highway Driving Assist 2 is available on upper trims, offering semi-autonomous driving with adaptive cruise control, lane centring, and automatic lane changes on command. Additional upgrades include a 360-degree Surround View Monitor, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Driver Attention Warning with camera-based monitoring.

One of the Telluride’s standout innovations is its available Terrain Mode Select system, which allows drivers to choose from Snow, Mud, or Sand modes to tailor throttle response and torque distribution to the conditions. The X-Pro trim also comes with all-terrain tires and an exclusive suspension calibration, making it better suited for rugged trails or campsites.

With its blend of premium interior appointments, strong performance, practical space, and next-generation technology, the 2025 Kia Telluride continues to set the bar in the midsize SUV segment. It’s designed for families who want more from their vehicle—more comfort, more features, and more capability to explore.
